Chairman

Ed is the non-executive Chairman of HighVista Strategies. Prior to joining HighVista, he was President of Diker Management LLC, a company which manages several hedge funds. Previously, Ed held positions as Chairman and CEO of MLH Capital, LLC, Chairman and CEO of ING Aeltus Group and ING Furman Selz Asset Management, Co-Chairman of ING Barings, Americas Region, and Chairman and CEO of Furman Selz. He also held senior management positions with Lehman Brothers, E. F. Hutton and the Capital Group. Ed is Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Trustees of The University of Rochester and serves on the Boards of the Nantucket Golf Club, the Ocean Reef Foundation and the Horatio Alger Association. Ed received a BS from the University of Rochester and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
